v1.7 released. Read about the new features

Labels inside of select boxes
The labels inside in front of the select boxes can be disabled. So the user would just see “-select make-” in the select box. This frees up extra space.

Compatibility notes admin panel
The compatibility notes is now manageable from the admin panel in regards to creating, editing, and deleting compatibility notes messages.

Compatibility notes alphanumeric codes
Instead of a meaningless ID number you now assign alpha numeric codes. For example instead of “1″ referring to the note that describes the fitment to the user, you can refer to it by “abc” in your import file. This helps in creating easier to remember codes. Example: “nocd” to stand for “No CD Changer” could be more helpful then just “1″.

Change levels from admin
You can now sort each given level independently, ascending or descending. The levels are now fully managed in the control panel. With a click of a button you can change around the levels & their ordering without editing the config file anymore.

Start & End Ranges in importer
Start & End ranges now work for any level, not just the last (year) level. So you could have make/model_number/year. Then in your import you could use model_number_start, model_number_end, year_start, & year_end to specify ranges of “model numbers” & “years” to add. Previously this only worked for the one of the levels (typically year)

Added setting on where to submit on category page
If your user is on the category page and presses search on the vehicle search, you can now send that user back to the homepage or some other custom landing page instead of filtering the current category, if you so choose.

Support for “store codes in URL”
Magento’s “store codes” feature is now supported. Please keep in mind you must purchase a license for each domain. The enterprise package allows for a ten domain license.

Duplicates vehicles when duplicating a part
When duplicating a product within Magento, the vehicles associated with that part are copied over to the newly created part as of now.
